Murcia Bars There are a great number of bars and tapa bars in Murcia where you can enjoy delicious snacks and appetisers in the open air. The most well-known Murcian tapa dishes are, zarangollo, pisto and la ensalada Murciana, which are served with vegetables fresh from the markets of Murcia. Some of the most popular bars are El Palomo and Los Toneles (both situated in C/ Cánovas del Castillo), the Pepico del Tío Ginés in C/ las Mulas, Los Zagales in C/ Polo de Medina, El Patio in C/ Paco and La Parranda situated in Plaza San Juan. Most bars in Murcia serve tapas but during the week-end try and get to the tapa bars in Plaza del las Flores, la Plaza Mayor, and Alfonso X el Sabio. If you prefer something à la carte, there exist many Murcia restaurants, in every part of the city, where you can find a great quality at good value. Murcia Nightlife  Murcia and the Costa Blanca have some very lively nightlife spots, with most places, both in the large resorts and in the smaller towns, staying open until the early hours of the morning. There are always many bars offering live music and some of the larger hotels put on after dinner dancing and entertainment.Murcia has plenty of good nightclubs which tend to really kick off after about 12 midnight and continue on till whenever. Remember to take your passport, you need to be above the age of 18 to get into any of them. Dress code is fairly relaxed but to avoid any trouble make sure you wear at least 'smart casual' clothes. None will let you in if you are wearing shorts and a t-shirt!
